更换了新的制作人，Kelly Clarkson的音乐风格也大为不同，这个曾经以演唱的嗓音酷似“花蝴蝶”Mariah Carey而被广大歌迷所熟知的女孩，如今也像很多女星一样转向了“摇滚”。如果乍听起这张专辑里主打单曲《Breakaway》的话，会让很多想起去年当红的哥特摇滚乐队Evanescence的主唱Amy Lee，让Kelly Clarkson转变的是正是Evanescence乐队前吉他手Ben Moody，这位前Evanescence的创作核心在这张专辑里不仅担当吉他手还充当了制作人，有这位新的摇滚精英打造，难怪Kelly Clarkson会趋向于变成又一个的Avril Lavigne，而这张专辑主打歌《Breakaway》也是由Avril Lavigne所创作的。即将23岁的Kelly Clarkson显然希望在自己年岁逐渐增大之后，避免年龄越大穿得越少的流俗，走向流行摇滚确实是一个不错的方向，她这张专辑里的表现也还是非常努力。只不过Kelly Clarkson从目前的表现来看依然有些过于依赖制作人的因素，相对于那些更有实力的歌手，Kelly Clarkson还是应该继续增强自身实力，此次专辑里中六首歌曲也都由Kelly Clarkson亲自参与创作，她已经开始切实地考虑自己音乐事业的可持续发展了，很值得赞赏。
